PALLMANN Plast-Agglomerator
Type PFV Series
During the production and processing of thermoplastics, production waste occurs. The PALLMANN Plast-Agglomerator PFV processes these wastes into free-flowing granules. These granules are reused in production as valuable raw material.
100% utilization of plastics
Agglomeration of Plastics
The Plast-Agglomerator, type PFV is proven worldwide for the continuous production of free-flowing granules from thermoplastics of all kinds.
Agglomeration takes place below the melting point of the materials using friction heat:
- Continuous, fully automatic process
- No thermal damage to raw material
- Properties of the raw material are preserved
- Output can be further processed
- Process material with up to 10% moisture
- Low cleaning requirement
- Starting time less than 5 minutes
- Compact design and low space requirement
Specialist in size reduction
Founded in 1903
The Plast-Agglomerator, type PFV is available in six different sizes with throughput capacities from 20 kg/h to 4,000 kg/h.
PFV Series
PFV 120 | : | 45 - 65 | kW |
---|---|---|---|
PFV 200 | : | 88 - 120 | kW |
PFV 250 | : | 120 - 189 | kW |
PFV 315 | : | 165 - 280 | kW |
PFV 400 | : | 243 - 379 | kW |
PFV 600 | : | 549 - 799 | kW |
The feed material is cleaned in a plastic washing plant and then fed directly to the agglomerator via a press screw or centrifuge.
Unlike in other processes such as extrusion, the thermoplastics in the Plast-Agglomerator, type PFV are not heated up to melting point and are therefore only subjected to minimal and insignificant thermal stress.
Materials
All thermoplastic materials such as polypropylene, polystyrene, polyamide, polyester, PVC, ABS, XPS and composite materials of any kind,
dry or moist, can be continuously recycled with the same system.
